Hi,
Look at the topology table:
> P 5.5.5.5/32, 1 successors, FD is 156160
> via 142.1.65.5 (156160/128256), FastEthernet2/0
> via 142.1.56.5 (386560/128256), FastEthernet0/0
The numbers in the parathesis means (FD/AD). The rule is: routes in
topology table if AD < minimum FD, and will install to routing table is FD <
variance * minimum FD. Therefore in your case you have to pick a variance,
so that 386560 < variance * 156160.

showing two possible routes using "sh eigrp topology" result? I have tried
useing variance = 2, but fail.
