Hi guys,
First of all thank you to all those who gave me advice
on books to read as final preparation. Now I am having
a bit of a problem connecting to my lab at work from
another company and I need a bit of advice.
Scenario 1:
Lab in Lan 10-PIX-Internet-CheckPoint with Nat-Lan 192
Scenario 2:
Lab in Lan 10-PIX-Internet-Home/Public Internet Access
Well, if I try to connect with my VPN client in
scenario 1, Pix asks for username and I manage to be
authenticated in the Pix and I get connected (or at
least that says the vpn client), but that4s about it.
I can4t ping or anything. Scenario 2 works
beautifully. I am using same client in both cases and
all ports are even open in scenario 1 just to make
sure it is not the Checkpoint which is stopping the
connection. As I say it does connect...I just can4t
access anything.
Sorry it this is the wrong forum but I would like to
know if someone has had the same problem...and how it
got resolved.
Thanks a lot,
Fernando
