Wanted to share a bit of information I got directly from the proctors and
progam folks (this was presented at the CPN event so this is not in any way
a violation of the NDA). The average number of attempts for successful
completion is 2.4 - 2.7, or in other words, three.
Another significant question I got answered is whether or not you can do
extra things. Pretty much if you are NOT forbidden to do something a
certain way then you are allowed to do it (I asked it just that way). It's
focused more on seeing the RESULTS they are looking for more than HOW you
got it to work.
I found those tidbits very enlightening. I hope you do as well, I am due
for my next attempt a week from Friday. On my last attempt I grabbed a bag
of Wheat Thins from the Cisco lunch room and after the day was over I stuck
my name tag on it. For me its a reminder that I dont want to "buy" another
$1250 bag of wheat thins. Just my way of keeping the goal firmly in front
of me.
