Hey Ed,
Sounds like good advice. Of course, I'm hoping that on my next attempt this
question will be completely moot. At least, I suspect I've flushed out most
of the layer 2 issues I might encounter.
I can also say something we all know but which we might, under the pressure
and stress of the lab, sometimes forget...
If there's a layer 3 problem, don't waste time troubleshooting it until and
unless you are 100% sure there's no layer 2 problem
