You are right about the fact that only Cisco Learning Partners will accept
these.

According to the program however, it does not need to be a Cisco ciriculum
course. It could be a training vendor developed course as long as 85% of the
course content is Cisco. So, Boot camps from Leaning Partners are eligible
for credits.

One thing nice about the program for those of you that struggle with getting
training $ is if you can include training as a requirement for any of your
projects you might be able to slip it in to those budgets as part of the
equipment acquisition. That's what I've been doing and so far it has worked
fairly well.

AFAIK, they have to be for sanctioned Cisco certified courses as well.
