I haven't seen all the tips so I'll throw these out for general consumption:
1 - Relax. You've configured this type of thing before.
2 - BREATHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't let the lab exam win by
controlling your emotions.
3 - If you feel frustration set in, take a break and grab something to
drink.
4 - Bring a sweater or jacket. It's like a data center and can be cold
at times.
5 - Socialize before going in, during lunch and after.
These tips all deal with the most important device in the network: YOU.
If you have problems physically, mentally or emotionally, your chances
decrease rapidly in most cases.
My one lab attempt was very educational. I didn't plan to pass because
I knew I wasn't ready. I needed to extend my written and figured it
would be a good experience. Even though I spent a good amount of time
in the DOC CD, I came close to passing. I had a nice chat with one of
the proctors during lunch and after finishing the exam which taught me
something about the process.
Chances are good that when you get to the lab, you'll already have the
technical skills to make it happen.
