Hello,
Along these lines, does anyone know where a good chart could
possibly be found
on cisco.com or someplace else that compares the routing performance of the
different Cisco
routing platforms ? We're phasing out an older Cat 8540 for something in the
6000 family and I believe we're loosing raw ip packet-switching power in
favor of a more robust image as far as
IOS features are concerned. I was told a long time ago that the 8540 could
route 360 million pps -
and this was not what they like to call a "marketing" number. Thanks alot
