Unusual, .. but I think it should work when using real router vs the
routed 'vlan' interfaces on a 3550, 6500, msfc etc.
The router would put the same dot1q tag on both subints., and it would
force each subint to be in a different IP subnet .

What actually happens depends on how they connect to the switch or switches.
If they were connected to the same switch .. the data from both would be
in the same vlan, and it would function as a sort of router on a stick.
Different switches would be the same as not using subint's.
