In the labs I'm using, not all interfaces are designated for any particular
protocol. I've read about other venders that have made these types of
omissions, so I tend to believe this is an purposeful action. Considering
that most labs give a requirement for full connectivity upon completion, I
was just wondering if there was a best time these interface additions(at the
end or during). And I too prefer the route-map method.
Thanks for the advice,
Alsontra

usually create a route-map and "match interface " -this is safe and easy for
me, especially when I have a box running multiple protocols, or advertising
different connected subnets to 1 or more protocols...I could get

access-lists instead -I prefer route-maps.

back and start adding these interfaces into your IGPs? Or perhaps you should
wait until you've completed your EGPs as well.
