I have a similar problem.
Got CCNP in Sep 99 and CCDP in Sep 2000.
Got CCIE written in July 2001, however this did not extend the CCNP/DP!
Looked on the recterifiaction site and it said take the 642-891 exam.
However when I looked on the tracking system for myself, it said that the
exam is not good enough - I need the BCRAN exam.
I think this has come about as I never did the 3 individual exams, I just
took the 640-409 Foundation R/S exam.
I have got the new BSCI & BCMSN exams (642-801 & 811), but this does not
help me. I need to take the new BCRAN 642-821 exam to tick the box in one
of the folders in the tracking system.

I do have a question on exam/certification expiration.
I passed the CCIE written July 2001, last attempted the lab in Sep 2003.
I know I must do the lab before Sep 2004 but is the written still valid in
August / September 2004, or must I do the lab before July 2004?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

KR Tom
