RE: CCIE # Association

Resellers (like any other company/person in the sales business) can be sleazy as hell. I've been offered jobs in the past where they just wanted to use my number for a flat fee, like $1000/month. Never had to interview or ever do any work for them. They chickened out at the last minute though. Apparently if Cisco finds a reseller doing this, the penalties are harsh. Cisco really should put something in your profile to let you know if you're associated or not. The 'Company' listed doesn't always list the correct one that the channel people maintain.
