I think I know the answer to this, but I need verification.

Can you use an Ethernet interface(10mbit), not FastEthernet, with dot1q
encapsulation while bridging between to VLANs?

Example?

interface Ethernet2/0
 no ip address
!
interface Ethernet2/0.16
 encapsulation dot1Q 16
 bridge-group 1
!
interface Ethernet2/0.36
 encapsulation dot1Q 36
 bridge-group 1
!
interface Ethernet2/0.63
 encapsulation dot1Q 63
 ip address 204.12.1.6 255.255.255.0

All pings result in encapsulation errors.
