Hi all,

I'm very confused by what I'm reading in the documentation at

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1835/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00800ca74d.html#1001359

It talks about "engine ID", "remote user", and "groups" (steps 1,2 and 3),
but doesn't explain what they are, but shows they have to be configured
before using the "smnp-server host" command.

In the examples I've seen in other places like Doyle's Routing vol II, and
the Cisco Cookbook, they don't show such things.

Could anyone explain what's going on with these commands or point me to any
links that explain this?
