RE: Rack Rentals

Hi,

I've checked out a number of rack rental sources and it's my feeling
www.ccie4u.com is the best. I'll tell you why.

1) Very flexible scheduling (time slots as small as 4 hours). For me,
longer time slots would be a waste of time, since when I get stuck on
something, I don't want to just move on. I want to research the issue
and figure out what's going on - a process that often takes too long to
do while on a rental rack.

2) Very competitive prices. Let's face it. Who has money to burn?
Ian, the guy who runs ccie4u, even gave me discount when I signed for a
bunch of 4 hour slots.

3) My experience with Ian's support has been fantastic. I had never
telnetted into a rental rack before and wasn't sure of what I was doing.
Ian was very patient with me and explained everything I asked him about
- and I asked him alot of questions.

4) When I wasted a couple of hours of time while I was using one of my
time slots because of confusion about how the ATM switch was (or should
have been) configured, Ian allowed me to make up that time without an
additional charge. He didn't have to do that. He could have reasonably
argued that I should have realized that when using an ATM switch....
But, he didn't. He said instead, "No problem, just schedule the make-up
hours whenever the rack is available." To me, that's real Customer
Service and for that I'll be a loyal customer until I have my ccie and
maybe longer. (Who knows, I might go for the voice ccie after the R&S,
but I still won't buy voice capable routers.) Besides my being a
customer of ccie4u, I have no other affiliation with them but since
working with ccie4u has been such a good experience I'm happy to give
people my recommendation for their service.

I hope this helps you. If you have additional questions, please feel free
to contact me directly.
