Yes you can change your phone to Cisco IP phone. It is real easy to setup.

Let me know if specific questions.
Now, you will need PSTN/PBX link so you can place/receive traditional calls,
and you will need Unity or something for voice mail if desired. As well CME
was never meant to scale up all that much.
I just brought up CME installation a month ago and so far very happy with
it.
