When you summarize internal OSPF routes on an ABR using the 'area X range'
command, starting with 12.1, OSPF will inject a NULL0 route automatically.
If you would like to remove that NULL0 entry from the routing table you
issue the 'no discard-route internal' to remove the NULL0 entry from your
internally summarized routes. This command will go on the same router,
under the same OSPF process as the 'area X range' command.

When you summarize external OSPF routes on an ASBR using the
'summary-address' command, again OSPF will inject a NULL0 route. To remove
the NULL0 route for the external summarized routes you use the command 'no
discard-route external'. This command will also go on the same router,
under the same OSPF process as the 'summary-address' command.
