Hi group,

I have an old 7204 which could not boot normallly, bellow is the display when
booted:

System Bootstrap, Version 11.1(5) [mkamson 5], RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Copyright (c) 1994 by cisco Systems, Inc.
C7200 processor with 98304 Kbytes of main memory

device does not contain a valid magic number
boot: cannot open "bootflash:"
an alternate boot helper program is not specified
(monitor variable "BOOTLDR" is not set)
and unable to determine first file in bootflash
loadprog: error - on file open
boot: cannot load "cisco2-C7200"

System Bootstrap, Version 11.1(5) [mkamson 5], RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Copyright (c) 1994 by cisco Systems, Inc.
C7200 processor with 98304 Kbytes of main memory

Self decompressing the image : ########################################

It will eventually booted from the PCMCIA flash card, and once a while will
crashed!

Does anyone know what was the problem?

Any input is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Xy
