EIGRP Stub connected

Hi:
Could anyone help me to solve this problem:
I have a router configured with lo intf, under eigrp I use "eigrp stub
connected", I belive this command will advertise the connected routes to
neighbors, why the lo intf network did not get advertised. while I have to
use "redistribute connect" to make this happen?
