Long Reach Ethernet

Hello groupstudy,

Does anyone know if there is a minimum distance physical
limitation of long reach ethernet.

The only thing I find on CCO is 3500 feet and above. At our network, we are
running it on a telephone wire

that is less than 200 feet and I was wondering whether this could actually be
hindering performance. You

don't want to know the reasons of why this is being done, for it is beyond the
limits of rational thought. I

already had a TAC engineer check and they couldn't find anything [ yet ]

Any comments welcome.
