OT- SNMP traffic monitoring problem

Sorry for OT, but I am having problem for snmp issue.
I am monitoring router's GE interface: traffic rate
(ifHCInOctets:1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6)
It seems working fine, but strange thing has happened.

This GE is connected SW and configured as a trunk port "router on a stick".
There are 2 sub-interfaces using 802.1q.
I thought the following formula was correct:

Total Traffic rate(phsical interface) = sub-interface1 + sub-interface2

But, somehow graph shows different value. Total value of sub-interfaces
doesn't match
the value of physical interface. I mean, phisical interface show much
heavier traffice than
sum of sub-interfaces.

Does any one have idea?
I think this is probably snmp issue, and can I monitor traffic rate for
each GE sub-interface?
I never done monitoring GE sub-interface.

Thanks in advance!

Tomi
