Starting in IOS Version 12.2(8)T it has limited capabilities to change the
network type. You can change the network type from Broadcast (Physical and
Multipoint subs) to Point-to-Point, but you cannot change it from
Point-to-Point to Broadcast.

match and you are running a version of the IOS before 12.2(8)T:
