Hi Group,

If I have the following scenario:-

I have a laptopA sending data to R1, R1 forwards to R2, then R3, and finally forwards the packet to destination, ServerB. And I have my R1 marks the packet with IP Prec 3

I have the following questions:

Since I'm classifying packets with layer 3, does it mean that I can only use Layer 3 IP prec marking?

Can I get my R2 & R3 to ignore the marked IP Prec field in the packet?

Since packet has already been marked, does it mean that my R2 & R3 can only perform QoS feature based on IP Prec?
