John,
Not that this helps much but perhaps you should use another OS (like
win98) that may run xyz program in a more reliable fashion than XP!....I
find it useful to setup multiple operating systems on a single PC (edit
the boot loader initialization file).....for example, I have NT 4.0, 5.0
(2k), 2k server, and 98 on a single box........
Go to microsoft.com (to their "knowledge base" and search for editing +
boot.ini etc..)....
I did a quick
search....http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289283
Let me know if you would like some more input on having multiple OS,
boot.ini, etc....
Best regards,
Andre'

Subject: network analyzer for windows xp professional
Hello Team,
Does anyone know of a good network analyzer, that will run on windows XP
professional that is inexpensive but reliable. I had previously tried
ethereal, and it was very buggy and crashed my system once already, I
looked at the software from network associates, but it is around $1000
dollars. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely,
Matijevic
