Must agree. I downloaded the sample chapter as well, and was very impressed. Since I already have Bassam's First Addition, I will just wait for this new BGP book to come out. n'trecall all the differences I found but the 2 differences I can remember werethese:1) The 2nd edition included info on prefix lists2) The 2nd edition included info on Outbound Route Filters.While there may have been some other minor differences, my overallconclusion was that the 2nd edition didn't include enough new info to makethe investment worthwhile and so I didn't purchase the 2nd edition. Inaddition, I found on cisco's web site all the info I needed on these 2features.That being said, there's a new BGP book from Cisco Press that just came out.I downloaded the free chapter from Cisco Press' web site and was impressed.I have since ordered the book but I won't get it until around mid January.My guess is that this new BGP contains alot more info on the new features ofBGP. In just that one chapter I learned about features I previously I noidea about.I suspect that if you willing to spend some more money on BGP, this new bookwould probably a better investment.HTH, dt-----!
