the rotary command changes the telnet port to 3010.... (it's 3000 + rotary
number)

Hello,
to telnet to a router other than the default port 23, you will have to
specify telnet <ipaddress> <port number> . For example, telnet 1.1.1.1 22,
this telnets to ip address 1.1.1.1 on port 22.
