that is configurable actually.
the default is both values are modified.(dscp, cos)
but with 12.1(11)EA1 or later,
you can use
mls qos trust cos pass-through dscp
trust cos and do not change dscp value via cos-dscp map
(assuming no dscp-dscp mutation map set)
or
mls qos trust dscp pass-through cos
(trus dscp and do not change cos via dscp-cos map.)

How about the COS value after DSCP-to-COS map applied, will it be internal
use only to select the output queue or will actually marked in the tagged
frames. I think DocCD don't clearly states it.
