sorry for the absolut very basic questions about syslog stuff on vintage
CatOS boxes...

what is the difference between "set logging buffer" and "set logging
history"?

And how I could generate in a easy way a syslog messages in a running
network?
Without disconnecting a device.
(on ios device I go usually into config mode and then out)
