My company purchased the IPExpert volume and I've used it to study. I
didn't buy the Netmaster study guide, but downloaded the sample exam...and
from my experience, Netmaster is much, much closer to the exam than
IPExpert. Knowing now, I wouldn't have let my company spend the money on
IPExpert.

I mean, some of the questions that IPExpert ask in the labs are nothing
compared to what you will have on the exam. They ask silly questions
like...."configure BGP keepalives to double the default value". Full of
questions in that sort that you really don't need to know on the exam. The
exam doesn't test you on your memory of default values. I found most of the
questions ambiguous in nature. Just go the postings on the labs in IPexpert
and see what type of questions people post for the labs...you will find some
postings to the author for clarification.

IPExpert has full of errors....even version 5. I mean I would copy and
paste the final configs supplied by IPExpert to see how certain things work
and it still doesn't work. Again, check the postings and I guarantee for
some of the labs, you will see a quote from the authors stating that there
was an error and should be corrected.

Lastly, I don't know who edited that v5 of the book but it needs much
improvement.

My spiff......

James
