You could always drive. (As a strange coincidence, I'm watching the movie 'Road Trip' right now!) I drove from NYC to RTP on one of my attempts. I think it was about 8 hours. Or maybe drive partway, like maybe to Philadelphia, and fly the rest. The CCIE lab does run every day, so you could try to call them tomorrow. I don't know where you'd find a phone number for the actual lab, but maybe someone on the list has an idea. An email to ccie@cisco.com might help also. Good luck.
