Normally you use them with multipoint interfaces (physical frame relay
interfaces and multipoint subinterfaces). One exception would be when
running PPP over frame relay on a multipoint interface.
As a rule of thumb, whenever you use frame relay maps for IP and are running
IS-IS, also map CLNS. Remember to include the broadcast keyword.
