Hi all,
Facing a problem while practicing redistribution scenarios. Having 3 routing
protocols on the same router and redistributing the 3 of them into each
other might create sub-optimal routing on (having external routes with
admin. distance lower that the admin. distnace of the routing protocol that
the route has to be learned from). The scenario would even go more and more
complicated if we have more than redistribution point. Do anyone has a
methodology or a Cisco document that help to detect route feedbacks, routing
loops and sub-optimal routing that happens as a result of redistribution and
solve it in an organized way (because sometimes using a certain way to solve
a sub optimal routing for a certain network might create another two if not
using the suitable way) ????
Currently i have to trace all the routes in each router in the topology
which is very very very time consuming which is not valid in the real lab.
;((
Your help is very appreciated,
Karim.
