Then NULL route is a automatically created route by the router doing the
summary. This is a very good thing because if this didn't exist and you
tried to access the summary address you would have a routing loop. This acts
as a safty to stop routing loops in your netwok since the network
10.0.0.0/12 doesn't really exist!!!
 
If you want to see this in action do the exact same senario with RIP and
create a summary route. You will see this one protocol doesn't automatically
create the null route for you like other (smarter) routing protocols do.
Then do a traceroute to the summary address from another router that is
recieving that summary address. You should see that the trace continues
bouncing back and forth because their is a loop in the layer3 network.
 
This is one of those things that you will have to ask the proctor on... if
you have to create a summary route in rip do you want to create a static
route to null 0 to eliminate the loop.

I have configure 2 Routers over EIGRP and then confiugre few loopback
interface to create diffrent network
10.1.0.0/16
10.2.0.0.0/16
10.30.0.0/16

then i use no auto-summary and ip route summary eigrp command to manuallu
summary above addrss
than i got following router inserted in the same router i hv advertise
D 10.0.0.0/12 is a summary, 00:05:07, Null0

why this comes and how to remove it
