I was wondering if anyone had any experience with taking out insurance
policies on their Cisco equipment, and could recommend any providers. I
know most homeowner policies will list a specified maximum for a computer
and/or laptop (~$2500), but I asked my insurance agent specifically about
covering routers, switches, etc and he pretty much stated that they wouldn't
be covered. It certainly would be good to know, considering the
implications and costs associated with a well-placed lightening strike,
tornado, flood, and so forth...
