as i know, passive-interface default can be applied to any routing protocol
other than rip,
such as eigrp or ospf as well.
the following example sets all interfaces as passive, then activates
Ethernet interface 0:
!
router ospf 100
passive-interface default
no passive-interface ethernet0
network 10.10.10.1 0.0.0.255 area 0
