As long as you satisfy the requirement to ping from every interface to every
interface and they do not specify to mutually redistribute on all three
routers, why add the complexity? Unless, you just want to see if you can do
it. I have said this again and again, you do not get extra credit for
creativity. When it comes right down to it, you want to satisfy the
requirement and nothing more. KISS - Keep it simple s*****d.

Subject: Multiple mutual redistribution points

All,

If you have a scenario where you are asked to provide full reachability.
Three of the routers are running both OSPF & EIGRP. The scenario said
nothing about where to do redistribution.

The question is: Is it enough to do mutual redistribution on only one of the

routers or should be done on the three of them ? ( The scenario solution did

mutual redistribution on the three routers )

Even if I have to do mutual redistribution on more than one router, what
would prevent routing loops or sub-optimal path selection from happening ? (

No precautions/filtering was done in the scenario solution )

Regards,
Yasser
