into EIGRP. Go ahead and tell other EIGRP routes about it, but make sure
you let them know it is NOT an EIGRP route."

Looking back over what I just wrote, however, I see that I was referring
to the *origin* of the route. Effectively the route becomes a part of
EIGRP, once it is injected into the database.
