hello guys,
here is something i have noticed.
in a typical multiple point redistribution scenario, between any 2 igps..
say
1.routers A and B are doing the redistibution,
2.A and B are both connected to a FR hub with p2p links.
problem statement:
if FR hub loses its connected route belonging to one of the links (i.e i shut
the p2p link to Router A on the hub side),
the link on Router A will still be up (FR lmi- remember isdn backup over FR
subinterfaces problem) and the route will be redistributed back via
RouterB,
so hub will learn its lost interface route via the other spoke.(incorrect
routing!)
question:
should i always deny the other spokes' FR interface route,on the other red
point while during redistribution?
i have never seen a practice lab, taking care of this.
or is it digging too much...
