Dear group,
Just want to confirm:
The command "snmp-server enable traps <type>" is globally enable the traps <type> for all the SNMP server defined, and the command "snmp-server host <ip> <string> <type>" will only enable the traps <type> for this SNMP server. Am I correct?
For example, if I issue the command "snmp-server enable traps mac-notification" then the switch will send traps to all SNMP servers configured if a new host added to mac address table. However, if I just issue the command "snmp-server host 192.168.1.10 secret mac-notification", then the traps will only send to 192.168.1.10.
Best Regards,
William Chen
