RSVP fair-queue reservations

I understand that WFQ and RSVP work together from a queueing
perspective. Since WFQ defaults to 0 reservable queues in some cases,
and always a low number, is common to increase the number of reservable
queues when running RSVP? I haven't found any documentation that
describes this interaction in detail. I'd really like to get a handle
on how this works. Even setting up functional RSVP and really
watching/debugging has not helped me with this particular detail.

Thanks in advance.
