That's a good idea, but make sure you take a day or two off from heavy
preparation right before the Lab Exam.
This is a matter of opinion, and may work differently for other people, but
being fresh is worth a lot.
If I had a choice between doing an extra two days of hard labs right before
flying down to the test location the night before the exam, or taking a day
off from hard preparation work and then allowing another day to travel,
the choice is easy. I definitely take the time off. That does not mean you
don't review a few things, but do not wear yourself out or get so stressed
that you cannot sleep. (Easier said than done.)
Just my 2 cents.
