Beware that you can't have VLAN 1 a Client VLAN (where the servers to be
load balanced) or a Server VLAN (where the virtual IP resides). I know
it's a design no no, but VLAN 1 was used for servers in our datacenter
long before I got here, and it wasn't until after we got the CSM that we
found out that you couldn't use VLAN 1 for anything..........
But we have been able to use it to balance WWW and FTP traffic
relatively easily and it works great......

Subject: OT: Cisco CSM's on Cat 6500?!
Is anybody using the Cisco CSM product to do load balacning? My company
is looking at this and we have had huge issues with the CSS's. If
anybody has any info on how well this product works please let me know.
Thank You
Jason
