What does "Multicast enabled" mean on an interface that's already IGMP
enabled?
Does it mean the interface can form PIM adjacencies with other PIM routers
reachable via that interface? If so, who cares if that's not possible since
the premise of the original question is that there are no PIM routers
reachable via that LAN interfaces. Please tell why that command is needed.
Thanks
dt
