Well it only really prevents attacks directed at the device(s) in
question. Most hacks are aimed at Windows boxes and web servers etc....

What're the pros and cons of assigning non-routable ips to firewalls
(pix, checkpoint)? I don't believe in security by obscurity but some
colleagues of mine are seriously pushing this as a means of preventing
attacks from the outside and I want to know if some of you have had any
