*Loopback addresses are considered to be real interfaces; they are a
good way to create subnets (and a good way to mock routes).

*Just like any other interface and subnet, loopback ifs can only be
reached if they are properly routed (known) throughout the network.

Subject: loopback questions

Hi,

What is the difference between loopback add 1.1.1.1/32 and 1.1.1.1/24?
Does
it mean if I use the latter, I can use the same address space throughout
my
network, and if so, will I be able to ping all the loopback interfaces
from
any of the router? Are they considered a network by themselves?

Thanks in advance!
