Group,
When i tried snapshot routing i thought that after the Active time the client goes into Quite period. but i find that it does not ...i dont understand what happens here.It goes into quite time after some time (couple of minutes) after Active time. what are these timers in the capture below. Could someone explain possible what is hapening ? Basic client config.
One client: # show snapshot
Length of retry period: 8 minutes
Current state: client post active->quiet, remaining time: 2 minute ??????
Updates received this cycle: ip
R10#sh snapshot
BRI0 is up, line protocol is upSnapshot client line state up
Options: stay asleep on carrier up
Length of active period: 5 minutes
Length of quiet period: 20 minutes
Length of retry period: 8 minutes
Current state: client post active->quiet, remaining time: 0 minutes <-- this is fine as it going into quite time.same router couple of secs later...see below.
R10#sh snapshot
