Sorry getting back late.Thanks for the explanation Jonathan.I can now add ur testing safely to my notes and tips.
As Jonathan has explained if the "dialer" option is not used on client side (mandatory) the client side never initiates the call.It depends on intersting traffic to initiate the call (which is done using daler map and #) and then routing updates get exchanged provided supress-statechange is not used.
NOTE: So in essence if we have used supress-statechange-update dialer and forget to use the "dialer" option with client then Sanpshot wont work. Also its alsways the client which initiates the call not the Server side.
I have never been able to understand why server would have a "dialer" though the docs say so. As they also say it is only the client which dials.
I have a couple of Q's on the same topic which i will post shortly.
