Hi,
I have the following:
R1-------ATM switch (Lightstream100) ---------R2
Without the vbr-nrt statement on each router, I can successfully ping the
remote router, but with the vbr-nrt statement, the ping doesn't work. Can
anybody explain why that is? The ATM interface on the switch supports 155
mbps and the vbr-nrt parameters were taken directly from the solution
configuration.
R1 config:
int ATM0
ip addr x.x.x.1 m.m.m.m
atm nsap-address xx.xxxx.xx.xxxxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xx (provided
by "carrier")
no atm ilmi-keepalive
pvc 0/5 qsaal
pvc 0/16 ilmi
!
!
svc ccie2be nsap xx.xxxx.xx.xxxxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xx
(remote nsap)
protocol ip x.x.x.2 broadcast
vbr-nrt 1200 800 72 1000 500 64
encap aal5mux ip
R2 config:
int ATM0
ip addr x.x.x.2 m.m.m.m
atm nsap-address xx.xxxx.xx.xxxxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xx (provided
by "carrier")
no atm ilmi-keepalive
pvc 0/5 qsaal
pvc 0/16 ilmi
!
!
svc ccie2be nsap xx.xxxx.xx.xxxxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xx
(remote nsap)
protocol ip x.x.x.1 broadcast
vbr-nrt 1000 500 64 1200 800 72
encap aal5mux ip
Thanks in advance, dt
