Passing grade is 80% of the exam. Your personall CCIE web access, if you
fail would have broken down each section and you can easily calculate your
total score. Now, if the passing grad is 80% and you've calculated your
total score to be 50 % - 60 % is it logical to re-score and get it up to
maybe 70% which still fails? common sense would tell you if the failing
score is between 70% - 79% and you feel that you did well and would get over
to 80% so it has it's uses and like any other tool it must be used wisely.
