Gary, the files contained in the /HTML directory are used for the
Cluster Management Suite. The CMS is a java based HTML manager for the
Cisco Catalyst 2950,3550 & 3750 switches (It may be used on a few others
also). While these files may not be needed in a home lab situation, its
probably good to know how to enable this functionality if you are asked
to do this in the real lab. See the following link.

To remove these files use the following command:
delete flash:html/*
You will be prompted to delete each file one by one.

Subject: Flash: files & directories...
Hi group,
I've just upgraded a cat 3500, & I'm not sure which files need to be in
the flash & which ones can be removed, I've deleted old.config.text,
which I was sure would be OK, then noticing the html directory, I cant
imagine why the switch would need the containing files. Plus I was
wondering how one goes about removing a directony in flash that contains
sub-directories & files?
Thanks,
Gary
