Hello group,
I have a question on ISIS and multiple areas. I have seen practice lab
scenarios were you are asked to configure two ISIS areas on a router. I
have seen this done two different ways:
One way:
router isis
net 49.0002.2222.2222.2222.00
net 49.0003.2222.2222.2222.00
Another way:
router isis
net 49.0002.2222.2222.2222.00
router isis TEST
net 49.0003.2222.2222.2222.00
On the doc CD, they use the second method. On Doyle's book, he uses the
first method. What are the differences, and what is the preferred way? any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rolando
